How does it feel to be associated with a great Italian Brand like Lotto for 10 years?
As an Italian, I am very glad to be associated with an Italian brand. Our partnership has started over 10 years ago, during which I have reached some great results.
And now you have a signature boot, how does that make you feel when you consider some of the great players to have worn Lotto in the past?
I feel great. For me it is important to wear a boot in which I feel comfortable in.
What was your first impression when you saw your boots for the first time?
I liked the boots from the very first moment. It was a great satisfaction and again when I wore them, I immediately felt very comfortable and at ease.
Did you have much input into the design of the boots?
In the past years, I was frequently contacted to give my inputs into the design and technical features of the boots, so I was very pleased when the company decided to create a limited edition for me to celebrate our long-time partnership. A royal/white boot with a tricolored stripe to recall the Italian flag and the shiny upper are some of the characteristics which I really love.

Composed, clinical and physical, Luca Toni is one of the most prolific strikers Italy has ever produced. Strong and powerful in the air, there is no better exponent of how to head the ball. With an enviable goals to game ratio, this opportunistic poacher has scored wherever he has played after making his name at Palermo where his 30 goals propelled them back to Serie A after an absence of more than 3 decades. Successful stints at Fiorentina, Bayern Munich, Roma followed and included a European Golden Boot in 2006 and Bundesliga title and Top Scorer in 2008. More than 275 career goals (and counting!) and a World Cup triumph in 2006 with the Azzurri have guaranteed his iconic status.

Every time I go out onto the pitch,
I strive for that goal which can make a difference.
Every match in football is unpredictable,
but I am always certain of having a friend with me
who knows me, encourages me, and who inspires me
to always achieve more.
A friend who, starting from today, can also be with you.
